Fair Business Deal

When you are in the recruiting mode, keep in mind that a successful meeting should end in with a fair business deal where the recruiter and the prospect both get something of value.

  1. You will
    1. Share knowledge and sources for more knowledge
    2. Explain what you do
    3. Share secrets of how you do what you do
      1. For example – Share an exclusive lead system (if you have one or know where to get one)
    4. You will take your time and spend it with your prospect to help reach their stated goals
      1. Your time is valuable – if you wouldn’t be spending it with your prospect, you would be doing something else to make money and/or enjoy yourselves
  2. You prospect will
    1. Be prepared for when you next talk
    2. Just as you are making an investment in your prospect, you should expect him/her to make an investment in themselves and find out what your business is all about. (Do the homework assignment you gave them.)

The purpose of the ‘Fair Business Deal’ is to enable an informed and educated discussion to find out if you are both on the right track and headed in the right direction.
